It’s been a week since the fire, and we’re still overwhelmed by the generosity of the local community and businesses who have all come together to help us out. ?

Thanks to your generosity and interest, we want to keep everyone updated on how things are progressing, and we will continue to share updates as we move forward.

We’ve been hard at work clearing the aftermath, and we’ve already filled one skip. Unfortunately, after further inspection, our storage container is no longer usable.

Last night, we held a club meeting at The Royal Oak and were grateful to have Cllr Maureen Cummings Labour Crofton, Ryhill & Walton and team in attendance, offering their support.

The meeting focused on how to move forward and how the funds raised will be invested in the club, as the fundraising has exceeded the original target set by the GoFundMe page creators.

It’s clear we have a lot of work fundraising ahead of us to sort out our storage solutions, and we’re incredibly thankful to everyone who has offered to help.

To raise more funds, the club is organizing a sponsored walk, as well as a Parents vs Coaches football game. Keep an eye on our social media for more details on these events.
